Jean Dailey, PHR

Human Resource Consultant

Jean Dailey joined Key Business Essentials, LLC in September of 2012. She brings direct non-profit leadership and management experience to her role at KBE providing local organizations both corporate and non-profit with an extensive range of human resource services including, legal compliance, policies 

and procedures, employee handbooks, recruitment and staffing. 

 

Through Key Business Essentials, LLC Jean provides organizational solutions for small to mid-sized businesses throughout Lancaster County, freeing business owners to focus their internal resources on their core competencies and growth strategies. She understands that business owners are over-

scheduled, overextended and have many tasks and duties that compete for top priority – she addresses those competing priorities offering creative, high-touch and affordable HR solutions.

 

Jean attended Millersville University with a concentration in social work. She holds her Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification through the Human Resource Certification Institute. She is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and is an appointed member of the Lancaster City Human Relations Commission.

 

Kathleen Roth

Founder

 

As owner of KBE, Kathy has over 25 years experience in small businesses and nonprofits.  She has extensive bookkeeping experience and a passion for helping Lancaster County’s small business owners achieve and surpass their financial goals.  Kathy does more than provide the necessary financial data, she provides clients with proactive, innovative ideas and strategies to assist in the financial management of their organizations. 
 
Kathy has been a Certified Quick Pro Advisor since 1999 and has worked with more than 50 start-up companies.  She has experience in a variety of business sectors including retail, professional services and manufacturing  – her clients include salon owners, construction contractors, doctors and dentists, food services providers and nonprofits to name a few.
 
Kathy provides a wide variety of client services including Business start-up and organization, weekly, monthly and quarterly bookkeeping and QuickBooks Consulting.   She brings her financial expertise and specialized bookkeeping services as a trusted team member to many of Lancaster County’s small business owners.  

 

Amanda Roth

Financial Services Professional

Amanda Roth joined Key Business Essentials in April 2013 as a Finance Services Professional.  She graduated with High Honors from Lehigh University in 2005 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Integrated Business and Engineering (IBE), concentration in Industrial Engineering.  What made the IBE program appealing to Amanda is the combination of a business and an engineering education which provided her with a unique perspective that she brings to the modern workplace. Her professional experience includes working for IBM as an Oracle Financials Consultant, Allianz Global Investors/Oppenheimer Capital as a Sr. Financial and Business Analyst, and, most recently, in Mortgage Banking at JPMorgan Chase as a Compliance Manager.  Her varied work experience provides her with a wide range of skills applicable to various industries.  Additionally, in all of these positions she has gained experience working in Excel and is our resident Excel expert.  From developing simple forms or reports to automating commission calculations, no project is too big or small.


Amanda developed a love and respect for small business working summers at her father’s apparel logistics company, both in the warehouse and office.  She resides in Lancaster County with her husband, Scott, and is working toward her National Bookkeepers Association certification in bookkeeping.
